Synthia's Bio
Synthia Roy has been piercing professionally in the city of Jacksonville since the year 1994. She has been tattooing almost just as long. In the year 2000 Synthia helped Duval County come up with standard piercing guidelines that the health department still teaches to this day. In the years 2000 and 2001 she work as a professional body Piercer for hustler magazine photographers. Over the years she has been awarded “Best body Piercer“ in Jacksonville’s Folio Weekly magazine “Best of Jax“ Local community voting several years in a row. She won second best tattoo artist in Jacksonville 2023. She recently won best makeup artist, best piercing artist and best tattoo artist in folio weekly Best of Jax 2024 and her tattoo shop won Best Tattoo Shop and Best Piercing Shop for 2024. In the year 2020 Synthia was awarded best artist with the Jacksonville community rainbow awards. After 30 years of working in other people‘s tattoo shops she finally opened her own tattoo shop in 2024 yin Jacksonville called “Synthia Roy Tattoo And Body Piercing
Aside from tattooing and body piercing, Synthia is an established touring musician as well as a special effects makeup artist and prop designer for horror films.
