Kenny’s Bio
I started my adventure to study multiple forms of body art in 1988, I started my apprenticeship in 1990 with Jack Starkey (physician assistant) for body piercing and custom jewelry design. I also got to pick his brain on suspension procedures, branding and scarification.
I was under Jack’s wing for a little under 4 years. I opened my 1st Piercing studio in Jacksonville, shortly after, I relocated to Orlando Fl. and opened “EXOTICA BODY ART STUDIO” which is where I learned many techniques for tattooing from many of the artists that I hired. I Owned Exotica until 2006, I Moved to the Philippines to be with family.
While being there I worked for various tattoo studios and was able to learn even more tattoo techniques and styles. I returned to the States in 2015 and traveled from state to state as a guest artist for many tattoo studios while reconnecting with many old friends, I settled down in my hometown Jacksonville in 2024 and reconnected with Synthia Roy. She invited me to work at her new studio “Synthia Roy Tattoo and Body Piercing” which is where I am today.
